Our Story

It all started with a simple frustration: we wanted beautiful light at home, and we couldn't find anything that felt like us.

01

Where it began

No design training, no start-up capital, no five-year plan. Just three friends from Alsace, a 3D printer and one conviction: that we could make lighting with real character ourselves.

The first pieces were imperfect. Some still are, a little. But something in those shapes told us we were onto something.

How We Work

Every Lysko object is born in our workshop in Alsace, France. We draw, we print, we fail, we start again. The machine makes the shapes. Our hands do the rest: sanding, finishing, checking, packing.

We work in small batches because we'd rather make less and make it well. Every piece that leaves us is a piece we've held in our hands.

What We Believe In

We don't believe in disposable objects. We believe in the things you keep, the ones you look at differently as the years pass, the ones you end up giving to someone you love.

Plant-based polymer, small batches, hand finishing: these aren't marketing claims. It's simply the way we want to work.

Small batches

No overproduction. We make what we can hold in our hands.

Durable material

A plant-based polymer, built to last and to age well.

If you're here, maybe you're looking for something that doesn't look like anything else either.
